Sri Venkateshwara
Venkateswara, another form of Lord Vishnu, is one among the Trinity, representing the power of Sustenance. He is regarded as "Kaliyuga Varada". In the "degenerate" age of Kali, He is always close to devotees and ever ready to bless and protect them. He is also called Balaji and Govinda.
Without you, Venkatesa, there is no other Lord. I remember you and worship you always. Show mercy to me, Oh Vishnu, give me all that is good and pleasant.
VENKATESWARA AT SSVT
In Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, Venkateswara is installed in a separate shrine built in Rayar style architecture.Narasimha, Vishnu and Lakshmi Varaaha swami are installed around Venkateswara shrine. Garuda is installed in front of Venkateswara. There is also aprovision made in the ceiling, on the northern side, to see Vimaana Venkateswara.
The crown on Venkateswara's head signifies His supreme sovereignty. The lotus on which He stands represents Truth which supports Brahman. The lotus in his hands indicates final goal of perfection; His conch signifies His call for nobler life of man; His mace connotes His power to knock down one's desires; the Discus symbolizes the total annihilating power to destroy the evil and lift one to a higher spiritual plane.
We worship Niranjana. Salutations to lord Niraadharaa. May that Srinivasa stimulate our creative faculties.
