Mother Motherland, Kiev. is a monumental statue of the “Mother Motherland” in Kiev, Ukraine. This is “Mother Motherland” monument in Kiev city, Ukraine. It is already 40 years old and at the moment it was finished it was the tallest statue in the world, measuring 102 m and weighing 530 tons . It is taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York.
The sword in the statue’s right hand is 16 m long weighing 9 tons, with the left hand holding up a 13 m by 8 m shield with the Coat of arms of the Soviet Union.

Murudeshwara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, lies in the holy beach town in the Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India. The statue of Shiva here is the world’s tallest, 123 feet (37 m) in height, took about 2 years to build and it lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea.

Any Gundam followers out there will be rather pleased to know that there has been a commission in Japan for a gigantic 59ft Gundam statue to be erected in Tokyo. The idea was brought forward to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the mecha anime craze.
7. Buddha at Wat Muang
This big buddha statue situated at Wat Muang Monastery, Ang Thong province, Thailand. This statue is 92m (300 ft) high and 63 m (210 ft) wide. Construction began in 1990 and was completed in 2008.
